Events.
On
September 28, 2006, Discovery Laboratories, Inc. (the “Company”) filed a
briefing package and requested a meeting with the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration (“FDA”). As previously disclosed, the purpose of this meeting is
to gain the FDA’s agreement on the appropriate path towards the approval of the
Company’s lead product, Surfaxin®
for the
prevention of Respiratory Distress Syndrome in premature infants. The FDA has
notified the Company that the scheduled meeting date is December 21, 2006.
